General Notes:

  1. GENERAL:
    1. DIRECTION OF OPENING REFER TO RELEVANT PLANS.
    2. FOR REQUIREMENTS ON FIRE RATING, REFER TO DOOR SCHEDULE.
    3. 3MM GAP BETWEEN DOOR FRAME AND LEAF
    4. ALL DIMENSIONS AND QUANTITIES SHALL BE CHECKED ON-SITE BEFORE CONSTRUCTION AND MANUFACTURE.
  2. UNLESS OTHER NOTED:
    1. DOOR DESIGNS FOR BOTH SIDES ARE IDENTICAL
    2. BRUSH OF ALL STAINLESS STEEL DOOR PANEL SHALL BE VERTICAL
    3. ALL STAINLESS STEEL FINISHES (INCL. ALL PUSH PLATES, KICK PLATES, WAIST PLATES) TO BE GRADE 316 WITH SATIN NO.4 FINISH
    4. GLASS FOR FIRE-RATED DOORS:
    5. VISION PANEL SHALL BE CLEAR TEMPERED GLASS, THICKNESS SHALL BE COMPATIBLE WITH THE DOOR’S F.R.R.
    6. GLASS FOR NON-FIRE-RATED DOORS:
    7. FIXED GLASS PANEL SHALL BE CLEAR LOW-IRON HEAT-STRENGTHEN GLASS (LIGHT TRANSMITTANCE > 91.5%)
  3. PRE-MANUFACTURING PROCEDURE:
    1. SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS FOR THE PROJECT MANAGER’S ACCEPTANCE.
    2. SUBMIT SAMPLES OF ALL IRONMONGERY, HARDWARE AND FINISHING MATERIALS FOR PROJECT MANAGER’S ACCEPTANCE
    3. ALL FIRE-RATED DOORS (INCL. FRAMES) SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH F.O.C. RULES AND SUBMIT THE RESPECTIVE FIRE CERTIFICATE FOR PROJECT MANAGER’S ACCEPTANCE.
    4. CONFIRMS ALL DETAILS, REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS IN COMPLIANCE OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, THE ENGINEER’S REQUIREMENT, LOADING CAPACITY REQUIREMENT AND STATUTORY REQUIREMENT.
  4. IRONMONGERY:
    1. COORDINATE WITH F.R.R. DOOR AND IRONMONGERY SUPPLIERS FOR COMPATIBILITY
    2. FOR THE REQUIREMENT OF IRONMONGERY AND DOOR ACCESSORIES, REFER TO DOOR SCHEDULE, IRONMONGERY SCHEDULE AND IRONMONGERY SET SCHEDULE.
    3. ALL IRONMONGERIES USED FOR THE SAME DOOR SHALL HAVE THE SAME FINISHES.
